History of Special Education in Balochistan
1981: Established first visually impaired school in Quetta
1983: School for hearing impaired and school for physically handicapped established
1985: School for mentally challenged children was established
1986: Four schools were in running
1992: Three schools upgraded from primary to middle
2010: Three schools upgraded from middle to matric level
2013: School library was inaugurated
2016: Balochistan Disabled Persons Complex upgraded to intermediate level
2017: Directorate of Special Education was established
2019/2022: Special education centers started in Mangochar, Mastung, Sibi, Kharan and other districts

Teachers Parents Meetings
Regular Parent-Teacher Meetings are conducted to discuss student progress, IEP goals, and collaborative planning for each child's development.

Regular staff meetings for professional development, case discussions, and coordination among teachers, therapists, and support staff.
Dispensary Room
To deal with emergency cases, services of staff have been made available. Sometimes students are referred to Civil Hospital Quetta or BMC Quetta for advanced care.
